Day 1: Hanoi - Cuc Phuong (L, D)
We depart Hanoi and head south to Cuc Phuong National Park. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel at the Following lunch, we take a drive deeper into the park to our starting point where we have three hour walk through the primary tropical rainforest and explore the rich fauna and flora of the park.
Day 2: Cuc Phuong - Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, we’ll visit the Endangered Primate Rescue centre and learn a little of the work that is being done to preserve the engangered native primates. After visiting the centre, we commence a whole day trek that will take us through the lush rainforest, past centuries old trees and to caves once inhabited by prehistoric humans leave from headquarter of the national park to the starting point. In the primary forest, we will trek for four to five hours, passing limestone slopes and trees over a millennia old. The destination is an ancient tree in the hope of seeing Cuc Phuong mascot and one of the rarest primates on the planet - the Delacour’s Langur. We then are transferred back to Hanoi. We will arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon. |
